A LITTLE ABOUT THE COLD SPRING INN...

"Under the Bergman’s lead, the Inn has established a reputation for good food at reasonable prices.”
– The Edgerton Reporter

Jim and Tom Bergman have high standards.

Jim and Tom Bergman and their wives, Jill and Paula bought the place in April 1996 and have
re-created a genuine country inn and bar that you’ll enjoy visiting.

Jim and Tom have been in the restaurant business for over 60 years combined. They share a high
standard for purchasing and preparing food. Tom and Jim take the time to hand patty burgers, slow
roast the prime rib, and take the time to research new and unique soups.

Cold Spring is friendly

Carrying on the tradition of “Delicious food at a fair price with great service” Cold Spring Inn offers an
unmatched value. With prices ranging from $10 - $20, the eclectic menu features a nice offering of
country entrees such as catfish, fried chicken and liver and onions; as well as more sophisticated
selections such as frog legs, prime rib and steaks.

Cold Spring Inn is home of the DREW BURGER!

Named after our quirky chef, Andrew Davis, the infamous “Drew Burger” draws crowds from all over
the state. It is the ultimate burger: ¾ of a pound of beef with all of the toppings, including 4 kinds of
cheese, mushrooms, bacon, grilled and raw onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo!
Ask the Whitewater Warhawk football team if they’ve had one lately.

Cold Spring Inn has a rich history.

Cold Spring's friendly atmosphere.

As a settlement, Cold Spring got its name from a gushing spring of cold water on Whitewater Creek.
Near to the restaurant, you’ll find a historical marker signifying where Abraham Lincoln had his horse
stolen on the night of July 9, 1832 during the Blackhawk war.

The building itself, which is over 100 years old, was once a general store, post office and local bar.
The original dining room was demolished and rebuilt in 1984. In 2000, the Bergmans redecorated the
bar including new oak conversation tables. The restaurant’s décor is inviting and you get the feel like
you are in a cozy, country inn of long ago.
